CentroCentro

This project continued the San Ildefonso performance. It was presented at CentroCentro Madrid as part of the group exhibition Madrid ¿IM?POSIBLE in 2013.

There was something about being exposed, but not having to perform, that intrigued me, so I built a wooden base with tubes to hold my body above the ground. Helium balloons were attached to my body for people to take, letting them wander around the exhibition space. There was a contrast between touching a stranger’s body and the silly balloons you’d get in return.
